Anti aging focus for hair care

Hair care is now a big part of the whole anti aging phenomenon.

Demand for anti aging products is not just confined to skin care and companies are racing to add sun protection and a host of other anti aging ingredients into hair care products. To be honest putting sun protection into hair care products is nothing new.

But recently manufacturers have started to come up with hair care products containing ingredients that target the visible signs of aging in hair.

Recent company moves into anti aging hair care include L’Oreal with a range which is claimed to revitalise capillary fibres and entrich mature hair.

Frederic Fekkai has also launched a wonderful line tackling the problem of thinning hair which causes misery for many older women.

In Europe there have been product launches at the top end of the hair care market like Carita le Cheveu’s Anti-Age Capillaire Hair Treatment which fights the visible signs of hair aging over a five week course of treatment.

Other companies have included advanced anti aging ingredients as well as vitamins, essential oils and microsilicones to protect and nourish mature hair.

Of course - it’s not surprising that these products are appearing everywhere - the value of the anti aging hair care market world wide is huge.

With an aging population - even in these credit crunched times - hair care products for women over 40 is a market that’s bound to get bigger.

Great news for most of us 40-50 somethings who know just how important hair care is for a younger look.
